We are two sisters-in-law who share a love of reading, writing, Laura Ingalls Wilder, Jane Austen, and Louisa May Alcott.

As children, we read and re-read the Little House books and the Ann of Green Gables series, along with My Side of the Mountain and Little Women. We grew up to delight in Jane Austen and Banana Yoshimoto!

Between us, we love to quilt, sing, cook, bake, preserve, garden, forage, and raise chickens (and children.) In an earlier era, we might very well have been homesteaders.

Our love of history and fiction led us to the historical romance genre. Just for fun, we started writing the kind of book we enjoy reading: an inspirational romance with lively characters, a dash of humor and of course, a happy ending.

Lovers of the Little House books will appreciate the wealth of historical details based on our research into the world of frontier Minnesota in the 1870s.
